While this quote profoundly captures the human experience, unfortunately it does not apply to animals. They don’t get to choose their own way. We humans do that for them, and sadly not all of those choices benefit our 4-legged friends.

That’s why I volunteer for Hearts Alive Village Animal Rescue. When you hire me, 10% of my fee goes to help fund the amazing work this organization does to save animals’ lives. Their mission is to save dogs and cats who were losing their lives in an overcrowded shelter system, and to assist pet owners who have no other place to turn. To date they have helped save thousands of pets, by providing food, veterinary care, training assistance, support, and more. Hearts Alive Village works with survivors of domestic abuse, Veterans, seniors, the homeless, and children to provide access to services, find the perfect family, and educate and inspire the next generation to take action.
